Lynchburg, Virginia - Commercial Sales Representative

AFA Protective Systems, Inc., a 135 year-old established alarm installation and monitoring company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Commercial Sales Representative in our Lynchburg, Virginia office. The successful candidate should be looking for a long term employment relationship, have experience in selling central station monitoring services, along with the sales of fire alarm and security systems to building owners and property managers. Knowledge of fire alarm codes a PLUS!
This position requires a large amount of marketing activity including calling our existing customer base, canvassing for new accounts, maintaining mailing programs, joining industry associations and following up on both call-ins, company and customer supplied leads etc.

Compensation package includes Salary, Commission Plan, Expense Reimbursement, 401k Plan, Paid Vacation, and Optional Medical and Dental Plans. MT.Laurel - Commercial Sales Representative

AFA Protective Systems, Inc., an alarm installation and monitoring company established in 1873, has an immediate opening for an experienced Sales Representative in our southern New Jersey office, that services New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

The successful candidate should be looking for a long-term employment relationship, and have experience in selling/servicing central station monitoring services, along with sales of fire alarm, Closed Circuit Television, Access Control and security systems. Knowledge of national and local fire alarm codes is a plus!

This position requires a large amount of time in the field, working closely with our Sales Representatives to service our existing customer base, while marketing for new accounts. Expectations include developing new sales strategies, managing existing sales force, reviewing of paperwork and order packages, working with Operations Dept. to provide for smooth installations etc., handling customer problems in a professional manner, and utilizing motivational skills to keep the sales force sharp and aggressive.

Compensation package includes Salary, Commission Plan, Expense Reimbursement, Pension Plan, and Optional Medical and Dental Plans.

 AFA currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Sales Representative reporting to our Albany, NY office.  The successful candidate should be looking for a long term employment relationship, have experience in selling central station monitoring services, along with the sales of fire alarm and security systems to building owners, property managers and electrical contractors.  Candidates with experience selling other types of “low voltage” systems will be considered.

 This position requires a large amount of marketing activity including canvassing for new accounts, maintaining mailing programs, joining Industry Associations, and following up on both call-ins, company and customer supplied leads etc.
